Hotel Colon Caribe is conveniently located, 20 km from downtown Limon and 10 km. from the airport, which will soon be renovated to accommodate international flights. The resort is also just a few minutes from Cahuita and Puerto Viejo, places with beaches of overwhelming beauty.

The resort offers sits amidst the exuberant beauty of the Caribbean with a beach full of large coconut palm trees.  The hotel's cozy rooms are surrounded by the tropical jungle and the beautiful humid forest. There are canals, rivers and a lagoon that flows into the ocean through a 6 km wide, navigable waterway, where a rich variety of birds, fish, monkeys, sloths and other wild life can be observed.

There are 32 bungalows representative of the Afro Caribbean architecture and style. Each bungalow has air conditioning, cable television, internet, hot water, room service, and cozy terraces for you to enjoy the surrounding flora and fauna.

The hotel has two swimming pools; one pool has volleyball net and a Jacuzzi for 20 people, the other was specially designed for children.. There is also a game room, surrounded by beautiful gardens kissed by the ocean breezes of the Caribbean Ocean.

Restaurant, cafeteria, bar, conference rooms, and a nice souvenir shop are also available.

You can choose from a variety of activities, including: beach chairs, kayaks, beach volleyball, tennis court, basketball, football, ping pong, darts, billiards.

There are also bicycles, pontoon and canoes to explore rivers, lagoons, canals, and the surrounding forests.

Entertainment programs for all ages are scheduled to delight the guests; you can enjoy night shows, karaoke, Caribbean nights and others. There is a large parking lot with 24/7 security service.
